What is the Laser Welded Pillow Plate?

It is a kind of thermal transfer plate. Laser welded pillow plates are fabricated from two stainless steel sheets joined by laser welding. Laser-welded pillow plates feature custom flow-channel patterns that vary by design. Nitrogen is then injected into the welded channel cavities to inflate the space between the two plates, forming enclosed passages for heat transfer medium circulation.

Double Embossed Plates are most commonly used for heat transfer heat exchangers.

Single Embossed Plates are used for cooling or heating jackets, tanks, trays.
